Yoga for Men: 10 Minute Core Workout

Guys do you want those six-pack abs? Well, I want you to take a step back and really think about what your goal is.

Would also like to prevent injury and keep your back strong? Everyone thinks you need to do a ton of crunches to get good-looking abs, right? You can do crunches all day, but you would missing on training your deep abdominal muscles to train your core correctly and you would be missing so much more.

Spoiler alert here!!! Your core is more than just your stomach muscles.  Your core includes your six-pack muscles, your lower ab muscles, your sides, and your back.  They all work together, so you want to train your core as a whole.

When you don’t train your core as a whole, you leave yourself prone to injury.

Have you heard of someone blowing their back out when they sneezed??? This happens and it is not the sneeze exactly, but all the things that happened before that.

It’s also important to add in some flexibility so you can move with ease. Check out my article on yoga for the inflexible here.

For example, tight muscles not allowing you to move properly, not activating your core muscles correctly when you go move or pick up things, and having poor posture.

As I’m working with clients in my programs, once they start learning what muscles to activate and gain the strength they need, their pain starts to decrease.

So let's not only get you a strong core, but also a full functioning core that can help to prevent injuries.

So join me in this video to learn how to activate your deep core muscles and get your core working together as a whole to prevent injuries. In this video we will start with the basics and make sure you are engaging your lower abs.  This is key to doing every core exercise! So it may seem wimpy, but don’t skip it.

Then we will progress to harder abdominal exercises and back exercises.
Get started today with training your muscles properly to not only make you stronger but also prevent injury!
